Meeting Format
Our very informal meetings usually begin with a perusal of
finished models and newly released items such as kits,
books, and after-market accessories which members bring to
the meeting. An "in progress" portion follows. Modelers
display and describe their current projects, covering the
problem areas, the techniques used to overcome them, as
well as techniques that were not successful. The "completed
models" portion is usually the last segment of the meeting.
Members show their finished work and discuss the methods
they used to complete projects as a follow up to previous
"in progress" sessions. Occasionally meetings include "how
to" demonstrations, kit raffles, or "swap meets."
We meet the second Saturday of the month at the Pinnacle
Airlines training center located at 1785 Nonconnah Blvd,
Suite 111 (see directions). We line up or automobiles at
6:45 p.m. and enter the secured parking area "in mass".
Meetings usually last 2 1/2 - 3 hours. If you're in town
visiting or are interested in joining, please stop in. We
would love to see you.
